Hoody_s13 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) Hey all I'm trying to squeeze a little more out of my current ram sticks, been reading a little and found this small guide here which I tried to use: http://www.masterslair.com/429/tightening-your-memory-ram-timings/ I'm using Corsair Dominator GT 12gb 3x4gb (CMT12GX3M3A2000C9 - 2000mhz 9-10-9-27 2T 1.65v) @ 2006mhz 9-10-9-27 2T 1.65v. QPI/Dram is set at 1.25v, this setting is fully stable and been running with it for past 3 months. So after reading the guide above, i first went about changing my timings to 8-10-8-27 2T, leaving everything else as it was. Well it didnt like this, and wouldnt post. Anything I'm missing here? Was hoping to keep 2006mhz and just tighten the timings a little. I've read about people pushing there sticks well beyond spec, is this just a good combination of hardware?
