AllCoresHot Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Have found awesome website- Comeuro. Has many coolers and components for around a tenner less than SCAN and other suppliers- a Mugen 2 is just £30. I think it's legit. Are the Mugens (or Ninjas) worth it? I got a Ninja free from a member here before and it seemed pretty capable looking!
AllCoresHot Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 It does look a lot more substantial than a Hyper 212, doesn't it!
Locutus Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Pretty much any 1156 cooler will work well for your application (The mounting holes are exactly the same between 1155 and 1156.) So you can go with a cheap one and get better temps, or you can go with something a little more advanced. Personally I have a self contained water-cooling system which retails for around 75 bucks, but I think the Corsair H50 is a bit cheaper. AllCoresHot Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Just looked up H50- comes in at around £60, which is a bit out of my budget- £40 max. However, I would consider watercooling, but I expect it will be too expensive
