wevsspot Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I was particularly fond of my HD 5770s in Crossfire, and they overclocked well. However I was using the Sapphire VaporX versions.........................
John_again Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Well, unfortunatly i have this egg-like one... Should i switch the bios to a MSI one?...
wevsspot Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I'd be careful cross flashing to a bios from another manufacturer. It can, but sometimes won't work.
IVIYTH0S Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Well, unfortunatly i have this egg-like one... Should i switch the bios to a MSI one?... Do you have a backup card in case you misflash, also MAKE SURE to backup your personal bios
John_again Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Hello again! it's been a while. Well i switched the bios...uh, i changed a LOT of bios, but nothing seems to work! Can't get control of the voltages! I guess it's the Card that wont let me do that! As for the PC, my temps dropped from 70+ to 66c max and thats great! 4,2Ghz it's the limit for this CPU or motherboard(maybe?)... but i wonder how that Verran get to 4.65Ghz... with Air Cooling too... -_-
