They are not making anything off of watson. He cost $30 mil+ to make. Its all about name branding. Who made Deep Blue? IBM. Who made Watson? IBM. Who will make the next big computer? probable IBM. Its like going to the store and buying kraft dinner, everyone knows kraft dinner, but you forget its made by kraft. Or a Kleenex, if some one is asking for you for one, you hand them a Kleenex, it does not have to be made by Kleenex, but that name is branded for that product. This is what IBM is trying to do.
