acpowell Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 So I have this furnace I use everyday for work it is a Lenovo T61. I decided to try out core temp and I noticed that even when my computer is just sitting there doing nothing, or for that matter just turning on, the temp is at a minimum of like 59c. If this were my desktop at home I would be freaking out but I am not sure if I should freak out about my laptop. My question is this, should I be worried about the temperature or is this normal for a laptop? I don't have any similar laptops to test or I would but it just seems like 60c is a lot. And according to the logs it is peaking at 85 for core 0 and 87 for core 1.
