iskout Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Hey, been there. My first build (still have most of it as my current build) started off with a Foxconn nForce 4 board that I found online for $40. That went to a 680i SLI with an 8800GT 256mb because I couldn't afford a 512mb one lol. I was also using an E4500 at the time. Maybe a bit more. EDIT: as Gabriel said, get a UD3, they are really good for overclocking and have had excellent reviews. If you meant video cards, you cant go wrong with a GTX460 or even a 6870/ 6950 if its in your budget.
