Please rank these coolers in terms of performance

hi friends,

 

I have phenom II X4 940 which is giving me a very hard time. It's core temperatures are always between 55c-70c. i am planning to replace my current stock HSF with something better.

Please select the best coolers among the listed in order of performance. Do not suggest any other as these r the only ones available in my area and i want a low profile cooler which fits in my case.

 

1.) Coolermaster GeminII S

2.) Coolermaster TX3

3.) Scythe Katana 3

4.) Ultima 90

 

My rig:

AMD Phenom II X4 940

Corsair 2gb 800 Mhz

VIP 500W Gold

you core temps should not be that high with the stock cooler, that'd be illegal to pair it with them if they allow temps like that considering the p2's are never supposed to go over 62C

yeah i agree...but i think that's applicable to surface temperature and not core. My cpu's surface temperature goes to around 57c.

No, the 95W TDP Phenom II's are allowed 71C - 72C max temps, whereas the 125W TDP Phenom II's are allowed 61C - 62C max temps.

For example, look at the 125W and 95W 1055T. Difference in max temps. Go through the rest and you'll see 95W with max 71C - 72C, and 125W with max 61C - 62C.
