d0dge_182 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Hey, I've read somewhere something about wireless cards being half-duplex, while a wired connection is full-duplex, meaning with wireless you can either upload or download, but not simultaneously. I can't help but wonder - how is it possible to go online with multiplayer when you can't upload and download at once? There is probably some simple explanation, but it just doesn't make sense to me...
Jump4h Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) That's bull. All wireless cards can be configured to be half-duplex, but you wouldn't even be able to browse the web if you were in half-duplex mode. I use half-duplex mode when streaming media to my ps3, as it lower's the bandwith (or so I've been told).
