zauron Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Hello, Just wondering if it's safe to overclock a Sapphire HD 5670 1 GB DDR5? At least to a 10%. I got a 800W PSU, I think it's enough. Regards, Zauron
CowKing Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 an 800W PSU is way more than enough for that 5670, and yes it is safe to overclock a 5670, but just watch the temps because the heatsink will most likely be holding you back
zauron Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Something I forgot to add. My current GPU temperature is 35-36ºC. This is normal right?

I'm not sure if you think that's high or low, but it's fine. My 5750 idles in the low 40's, and hits 62-66 at load, depending on how cold my room is.
