photoguy Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Well, I'm guessing its setup correctly, according to my BIOS. My question: is System temp(<<what its called in BIOS) the NB set, or the temp of the inside case area? And, who knows how to read the voltages? I need to know what its reading, and if I'm ok with these readings.
Paranoid Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 The case temp is the NB.
Some_Guy_ Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 That voltage reading disturbs me a bit. Usually 10% is the maximum people feel comfortable having their voltages out, which translates to -10.8 on the -12V line.
Paranoid Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 I like to keep mine at + or - 5%, so that is why I bought an Antec. My -12V line is steady @ -11.94V My 12V line is steady at 11.73V
photoguy Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 What is that reading... the undervolt line? I don't really understand electronics too well. Could this be caused by having too many lights/fans going? It's a 400W PowMax PSU. I have 2 HDD, 1 CDRW, Volcano11, 6 fans, 1CC light (<<was off at reading) hooked up to it. Or is it due to some other factor??
Paranoid Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 Your 5V line is really low too. Maybe you should replace the PSU with a good quality one like an Antec or Enermax.
