paulktreg Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 What resolution is your monitor running at? Something like 1680 x 1050 and you'll be fine although you may not be able to have the AA & AF at maximum but what card can! potatochobit Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 30 FPS will be easy to get dont worry that computer can run crysis fine I recommend you get Team Fortress 2 instead though
paulktreg Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 One or two benchmarks suggest something around 30~35 FPS at 1680 x 1050. I'd be happy to play at that but others may differ? Cheers Paul
curtred Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 30 FPS will be easy to getdont worry that computer can run crysis fine I recommend you get Team Fortress 2 instead though id rather get crysis because of the real life graphics mod. its amazing! GmAz Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Ya, if you can sacrifice a little of the AA and AF, nto all of it, just a little, Crysis should be quiet playable.
curtred Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) ok cool and is there anything u think that should be upgraded on my computer that would make it play crysis a little better? Edited January 20, 2010 by curtred

sack_patrol Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 ok cool and is there anything u think that should be upgraded on my computer that would make it play crysis a little better? As sated above, the video card should be upgraded. You can either overclock or get 1 or 2 more depending on your mobo pcie slots and of course money. If you can't afford it you can try overclocking but in my opinion a gpu overclock under 30% isn't worth it. Anyway, you have a 5750..thats a good card and would run any game u want on max. I don't see why u wanna go out of ur way just because of some fancy grafix. Watch a movie, they tend to have even real-er grafix and don't require 50 vgas to run without lag. curtred Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 o im sorry for asking you guys all these questions but this site sounded like it had the friendliest community. my final question (hopefully) is what settings should i set the catalyst control centers settings to, because some people say turn anti alising on in the c.c.c. thing instead of in the game options and so on...
