GodlyManDude540 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 So I have a CoolerMaster V8 on one of my i7 systems oc'd to 3.6Ghz and I am not happy with its performance it hangs out at about 41c idle and 77c load I was looking into this cooler and I could not find any real reviews on it but the design of it looks like it would do a beter job of cooling in my opinion http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835185098 What do you guys think? Scottike Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) You'll be hard pressed to find better than than the V8, but you may want to take a look at Prolimatek's Meghalim. Look here:. And here: A Review Edited January 13, 2010 by Scottike
Bizzlenitch Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Aye, the Megahalems is a hell of a cooler. The Noctua DH-14 is also top-notch. Look into them if you desire better cooling.

I have the V-10, I would not recommend it . I have buyers remorse. I"m considering replaceing with better. Either of the two above recommends would be good.
