Tried both, After looking at the Dell Monitor Support Thread .... Their monitors .... I recommend going with another brand.... Easeness Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 If the monitor power wont even go on then its a monitor problem. 1. Try a different monitor on the computer. (that doesnt work go to 2) 2. Take out the CMOS battery put it back in. (not working go to 3) 3. Take the RAM out put one stick in at a time. ( still not working go to 4) 4. Take the Video Card out and put another one that you know works in. (still not working go to 5) 5. Unplug everything and plug back in. (Still not working Call a Technician to check) Hope this Helps.
