Kevz0r Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 After a lot of effort and money I have finished my watercooling system. 6x swiftec MCR320's (4 regulars and 2 stack) 2 swiftec 655 pumps Waterblock on cpu and video card. Apogee GT (at some point will be replacing for a better one) and the only full cover block that fits on my first rev. GTX 275. One from Aquacomputer. System is a; HAF 932 from Coolermaster Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P AM3 965 BE running at 3.7Ghz stable at 1.6V and 39C full load temp with prime '95 6 320GB HD's in RAID (OS on a pair in raid 0 and games and other stuff on a quartet in raid 5) 6Gigs of OCZ ddr3 1600 at 7-7-7-24 (the 4th chip had a memory chip peel off when I replaced the pathetic heat spreaders so whatever) GTX 275, havent had time to OC it. I will next week or so. Idles at 32C and full load at 41C. The waterblock is incredibly restrictive. PCP&C 750watt PCU

Baulten Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 O_O Six radiators for a 965 and a GTX 275??? No offense, but that is SERIOUS overkill It looks nice though. And those temps are insanely good.. but you need 1.6V for 3.7 GHz on your 965? Mine takes 1.46 for 4 GHz. Havey ou tried lower voltage? Kevz0r Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 The air from the water case exhausts strait up. Should work well to circulate air in the room. Yes 6 rads is overkill. But that's with expansion in mind. In Jan. or Feb. I will be getting the dual gpu Fermi card and relegating my 275 to physics duty. Besides I prefer overkill over not good enough. Oh yea, the system is in 2 separate loops (one DD rad-res per loop) 3 rads per loop. CPU on one video cards on another. As for my overclock I'm running 64bit OS and I just simply cant get it to go any better. The higher voltage ends up letting me drop the ram timings from cl9 to cl7. not sure how that works but whatever. Maybe when I have time I will try overclocking again.
