Looking for new HSF

Are you looking just for a fan for an aftermarket heatsink or for the heatsink itself? In that case I'd recommend either the Prolimatech Megahalems or the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme. Both offer similar performance with perhaps a slight edge going to the Megahalems. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Megahalem's mounting system, not only its performance. I haven't owned it for long but it offers extremely solid performance for anything from dual up to quad-core processors. Also, both will work brilliantly with your motherboard. I'm currently using the same board so no problems there. Take note, these suggestions are if money is of no concern, as you hinted at. These are both top of the line air coolers.

In either case, you'll want to add a fan as well. I recommend Scythe's fans as I've never had a problem with them and they have always performed flawlessly for me. The 1900 RPM Slipstreams push a lot of air, but the 1600 RPM S-FDB Scythes are nice and quiet, still push a good deal of air and are rated for 150,000 hours life. I'd recommend you do your own research as well and validate my suggestions, or find some you think will work better for your situation. Regards.

Awesome yeah I was looking at that megahalem, thing looks beastly. And I actually already have 2 of the high CFM scythes and even one of the scythe kaze as my exaust fan. And yes I was looking for the heat sink itself.

The reason im being picky about this fitting on my mobo is becasue I have been having some trouble getting stuff to fit, I just upgraded to this mobo and my heat sinks mounting kit didnt fit on the new board, total bummer.

You won't experience any problems with the Megahalems, I do not believe. I had no clearance issues with my Mushkin RAM, however things do get tight if you plan on running a dual fan setup on the CPU cooler, but it'll still fit. I like the mounting system more than any other cooler I've used. It is ROCK solid.
