Starting Cutting the work.

 

Here is the top part which will be used as a filling point.

 

Here is the bottom part which will be used for two functions one is to hold the top part and one to make it hide.

Today i started Cutting parts of my case.

i also stayed building the optical drive base which will hold the optical drive in place, The material Used is PVC sheet.

Progress on work:

The fridge door in here i will be housing the HD i will be using one or two i still don't know but the door takes two. I am also planing to install four fans two inflow of 80mm each and two out flow of 92mm each plus i also used two Alloy ( alumina and manganese ) heat sinks so to cool more the hard drive

Out side ( still a lot to do to make it nice).

 

 

Inside part with out the drive everything will be secured batter since for now i just fixed everything with hot glue to see the measurements.

 

 

 

Al so i have been working on the front part of the fridge it' self there will be the rest of the components.

I will be using white pvc to hold the perspex in between. at the bottom you will see a piece of plastic that represents the inner pvc that will act like a fails floor to make everything suspended.

 

 

Here i was thinking of making the main board and i just placed in place for measurement purposes only.

Hi Mates,

 

Today i am continuing on developing on the mod, i started thinking how to conclude this mode and i started buy cosing our the outer cosmetics.

 

On the upper part we have an opening here i opined it a little more. here is the photo.

After this was done i was thinking of making some grill with metal but after thinking enough about it i have realized that the amount of work involved would be a lot and the final product would not be as nice as i would like.

 

After looking about at home i found some perspecs.

 

 

then with the computer i made a small cooler master writing to use it as a background for when i am cutting the perspecs.

 

 

After cutting the cooler master, cutting i have put some liquier on the paper so i harden it a little .

 

While the paper was drying i went working on fitting the fan on the perspecs here is the material.

 

 

here i fitted the perspecs.

 

 

here i was fitting the thing on the fridge.

 

 

putting everything togher.

 

and started cutting.

I started today by having a mishap, yesterday i was doing that cooler master, the second o and ther e of master broke in my hands. here is a piturce.

 

 

Now i had to think what the hack i should do.

 

mean while so i don't loose time. i wanted to test the paint factor,in this test i have sended half the perspecs to see the effect of the paint.

After the test i thought of using glue to hold from the back side and then i continued on working on the rest of the words, after that i painted.

 

 

Final result of the first part of paiting.

 

 

during the drying time i started working on the other fan which is on the hd's compartments. which is situated in the door.

After taking the measurements needed i started building the the guide and the sides of the fan here is a photo of the cuttings.

 

 

here is the guide picture with the fan and with all the holes drilled.

 

I will be passing the wire of the fan under the hd heatsink so like this i will not have to make any other holes.

 

now that i am sure of everything i started sticking the part to the door. using a common sealer.

 

Now it time for the upper part of the same door.

After taking all the measurements needed and thinking of how the hack i am going to make this part. and here is the idea i had in mind.

Her is today's log which i took long today since i needed to think for the future.

 

This morning i started doing the bottom tray

nearly finished but stopped here till the wiring is done.

he i continued on sticking the modo tray here is a picture fixed with hot glue all round.

 

 

 

After the tray was ready i had to make something one the back of the fridge because if you can notice i don't have enough space to close everything and have the cables in a way that will stay confy. so i started creating a back extension , actually this will act like a shutter for the sealer.

after this is where i found a foul

the fault is that i have corners there while the shape is round therefore i found this solution

 

 

this will hold the sealer in place.

after that i started on the front side

 

this looks like a photo frame lol.

 

here is already done but not fixed i will seal it as the last thing before the final paint.
