eligray Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 There's no forum section that's really right for this, so here it lies! SAV and myself are interested in meeting up with some other extreme overclockers for some LN2 fun. I know that most people here aren't anywhere nearby, which is too bad. I have a Dewar, and can bring it to the event for people to use as long as the person pays for the LN2 itself . We're both located in the Bay Area. I also have a solid copper CPU pot, and a vacuum thermos that I could bring to help. Please keep the thread on topic, and if you might be interested/able to meet up for some LN2 benching, please post! 9KRacing Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I'm in the bay area and I would love to at least come and watch. LN2 is neat stuff yo. What city in the bay?
eligray Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 We're not sure yet, we still need a place that we can set up. Please let us know if you've got a garage or even backyard that you could share for a few hours. We're thinking about the second week of September I believe. I'll link you to the "official" thread on XS once their site is back up. See you in the thread and, eventually, at the event
tjmagneto Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 It would be fun to watch if I happen to up that way. I wish I could 'borrow' some liquid helium from my (?) MRI machine. Now that would be fun.
