habu42 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Below is my system, running XP SP 3, and win 7 32 bit. Could anyone suggest what would be good mid range overclocking parameters, without smoke checking the system? Thermatlake Xaser VI Full-T Case PC Power & Cooling Turbo Cool 860w PSU Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66Ghz 6MB 1333FSB CPU EVGA nforce 780i SLI Socket 775 Motherboard EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB PCIe Corsair XMS2 4096MB PC8500 DDR2 1066MHz (2x2048) Any input appreciated. iOverclock Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Make sure you have a good cpu cooler to overclock that Q9400. Keep the temps below 70 which is a safe temp for all cpu's i would say.
