peshewah Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 She has a LCD so if someone could piece together one for me I would be grateful. I have built 3 computers in the past so I can handle that part of it. I have gotten away from computers and gotten into my home theaters stuff but I still work on family and friends computers too often. Oh yes, Thank you for the fast response. Coors Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 cpu - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819103255 mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128383 ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820220095 hdd - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822145215 psu - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817371005 That comes out to $231.95 and all have free shipping. You could shave a little more off and get a smaller hdd but for the price and free shipping thats not that bad of a deal. Plus it has 16MB cache rather than the 8MB of the smaller drives. Add in a case she likes that accepts microATX form factor and you're pretty much set unless she needs a monitor/mouse/KB.

Coors Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Yea I picked out the other cpu because it runs cooler and uses less power. For a computer that is used for web browsing it should be overkill really. If it was gonna be overclocked and maybe even play a game or two i'd get the 7750 but in this instance I would just get the cheapest cpu you can that still includes a heatsink.
