My mother-in-law needs a new computer. All she does is surf the web. Thats about it. Can I build a complete tower cheaper and better than buying one.

She has a LCD so if someone could piece together one for me I would be grateful. I have built 3 computers in the past so I can handle that part of it. I have gotten away from computers and gotten into my home theaters stuff but I still work on family and friends computers too often. Oh yes, Thank you for the fast response.

That comes out to $231.95 and all have free shipping. You could shave a little more off and get a smaller hdd but for the price and free shipping thats not that bad of a deal. Plus it has 16MB cache rather than the 8MB of the smaller drives.

Add in a case she likes that accepts microATX form factor and you're pretty much set unless she needs a monitor/mouse/KB.

Yea I picked out the other cpu because it runs cooler and uses less power. For a computer that is used for web browsing it should be overkill really. If it was gonna be overclocked and maybe even play a game or two i'd get the 7750 but in this instance I would just get the cheapest cpu you can that still includes a heatsink.
