nightsider Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 just wondering how easy it would be to make one or to buy one, im moving home and where im moving to theirs a spare room which ill be using for all my servers and such. The only reason i need to secure the room in this facion is that a few of my housmates can pick lock a lock so i was wondering about electronic locking methods any tips or advice? Nowadays everyone uses either number pad locks, or RFID, or biometric finger print scanning locks. None are cheap expect to pay any ware between $200-$500 dollars per lock or more. I'd personally get a Biometric finger print scanning lock like this one http://www.homesecuritystore.com/ezStore12...?productID=2072 because they usually cost about the same as a good number pad lock and are cheaper then RFID locks and are much harder to pick open unlike number locks which the codes can be guessed or RFID/card locks which the cards can be stolen or misplaced.
