  2. im having troube setting up the ipb email settings, and as a result im having to manualy validate members, i cant figure out whats wrong with the setings im using x10hosting.com as a smtp host at the moment becuase my current host net16.net doesnt support smtp, i plan on moving my forum to x10hosting.com as soon as they get back to me on a sql server problem. the email setting in ipb: Board incoming email address This is the email address that all incoming mail is addressed to. my personal email adress Board outgoing email address This is the email address that all mail appears to come from.   4. hi guys im moving my site from one host to another so i did a phpmyadmin backup of the db my question is how do i restore the backup onto the new site after i have instaled the IPB forum software on the new host?

  7. sorry for the late reply it seems ive discuverd another IPB bug the email funct doent work, i only thought about it after pentesting my friends forum, thanks for the feedback guys i forgot the majority of you are USA based, ive been working in network security forums for the past 3 months or so and i normaly get a reply within 10 mins lol, ill check out the 490's but im not sure what i should be looking for in a psu

  10. just wondering how easy it would be to make one or to buy one, im moving home and where im moving to theirs a spare room which ill be using for all my servers and such. The only reason i need to secure the room in this facion is that a few of my housmates can pick lock a lock so i was wondering about electronic locking methods any tips or advice?
  11. hi all i just found this old motherboard in my dads shead, some of the back pannel is rusted but the board is compleetly dry, its a bit muddy but otherwise in good condition, the heatsink needs a new wire plug on it and i beleve i have some ram that i could use with it but what are the odds of the board itself working?
  12. hi all i just want some advice, im 20 and its about time i did something about my career since i dont have one lol, i have a strong interest in computing and computer maintanence,although i dont have any formal qualifications in computing well not any full ones at any rate, i have a qualification in bussiness studies aswell as my gcse results, im juts not sure what i can go for, ive tried looking at the different qualifications but i live on my own and i also need to rent a flat privetly now since i was let down badly by the sytem no counci will touch me, any ideas on what i can do im just looking for some guidence heare

  22. if you want to run xp on this laptop you can reformat the HDD and install xp the drivers for XP should be avalible form the manufactours website, im running vista now and i dont think it is that bad tbh i cant wait to see what people have a problem with vista is ok evrything is been pushed towards vista anyways
