I understand their theory behind getting the cpu usage lower, BUT Even with the xp hotfix and 9.3 couldn't get it to work. Going back to 9.2 and easy folding (don't have to mess with 5,000 settings just to get the same ppd.)

Yes it only works with 9.3 and if using XP you need the hotfix, off course then you can experiment with all the different settings they are trying over at the folding forums to try to reduce cpu usage. More trouble than it is worth to me for about half the PPD that Nvidia cards get, anyone want to buy some ATI cards?

 

if they are at the right price? for a 1 GB 4870
