IVIYTH0S Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Hm... Ultra Kaze Fan (3000rpm) costs just about half of what a P12 cost actually! And the thickness should be no problem for me either! :thumbs-up: My Artic Silver shot is already open, so i suppose that will be my grease of choice for now... Still nice of TR to include a shot that will last a while! ya I used my Arctic Silver just because it was open but I suppose those without a tube will be taken care of as well. I'd say definitely go for the Ultra Kazes then!
ccokeman Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Both the Noctua and TRUE are excellent and have great mounting mechanisms. Both offer a positive stop on the mounting assembly so you cannot over tighten them. Fan wise my fan of choice is the 2000RPM Kaze's They push a decent amount of air and offers a substantial decrease in temperatures on both the Noctua and TRUE. The Noctua fans push less airflow but are practically silent and do an admirable job of pushing the air through the heatsink.
