IVIYTH0S Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 sometimes you will have to manually set it up to it's settings, not all motherboards went to school and some may not recognize it's 1066mhz. Just "overclock" the memory to it's stock factory spec. Maybe if there is a new bios for that board, they could have added the profile for that memory
t00zle Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Ok so I did a flash to the bios and it restarted and never booted up. Is there a way to fix this?
Kingfisher Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Ok so I did a flash to the bios and it restarted and never booted up. Is there a way to fix this? Its always a good idea to clear your CMOS after a BIOS flash.
Baulten Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 1. Clear your CMOS. If it still won't boot, your board is dead, bad BIOS flash. If you have another around, you can try hot flashing the BIOS. 2. What is your RAM running at? Your sig says 533, which is actually 1066. DDR means double date rate. So you have to double what CPU-Z or whatever other program you're using to check frequencies with. 3. If it's actually running at DDR2 800, that's because Phenom processors automatically clock it so due to a memory controller problem when running 4 sticks. Bumping it up in BIOS will fix it and should cause no issues. The Athlon x2 7750 is a Phenom with 2 cores
