Crazy_Nate Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I would download and run OCCT. If it doesn't pass that, lower your overclock. There are other stability programs like Prime95 that you can use. Watch your temperatures with a program like Realtemp or Coretemp. Welcome to OCC PS. You can take a look at my guide (link in my signature). It's got stability testing in it.
Verran Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Probably an unstable OC. Time to start testing
DLS2008 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Run OCCT or Prime 95 for 12 hours to check stability. But why don't you already know that with a system like that??? Make sure to keep an eye on your temps during testing as they will get higher than normal day to day load.
mwillman Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Can you show us what your BIOS setting are? Is you memory linked and synced? Some people like to unlink them but I have found that the EVGA systems dont do as well when they are not linked and synced. I find It much harder to find the perfect balance for stablilty with an unlinked system. If you show your bios setting I might be able to help find the problem.
