Onion Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I'm looking to reinstall my vista but in raid 0 with my 2 raptors. Is there a way to create a single backup file of all my stuff, install vista, and then open that file to have it restore everything to the way it was? I have no idea how this is done if it is possible since I usually just format everything.

Nemo Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Acronis True Image is the answer. That way you won't even have to reinstall Vista.

ebarone Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I know I'm late to the party here, but ya... use Acronis TrueImage to image your drive as it is now. Then set up your raid array, boot from the Acronis rescue CD, and re-mount the image to your raid. Set the raid as the boot location in bios, and you're golden. I did the exact same thing with the exact same program, it works like a charm.
