RSC08 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 wow, not cheap! I'll see what my final budget is when i start to scrape the parts together. Then I'll be able to see if i can afford to pick up a quality psu as well. I cant complain about teh one i got now, especially considering after rebates it ended up being free =) Go for a PC Power & Cooling 750w Silencer Quad, it will take anything you throw at it, even 4870x2 CFX. lepel Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Go for a PC Power & Cooling 750w Silencer Quad, it will take anything you throw at it, even 4870x2 CFX. This one has 860W (if you want to be really sure): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817703013 Btw, look what I found (200$ save!): a 1000W PC Power&Cooling for 199$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817703003
Muskie Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 ya saw that pc power and cooling 750 silencer for $79 after rebates at zipzoomfly so that may be an option so i don't have to break the bank. That 1000W looks pretty promising as well.

That 1000W looks pretty promising as well. Go for the PC Power & Cooling 750w. The Corsair HX-1000 is made by CWT and not by Seasonic, so the overall quality is not so good. tanka12345 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 You should be right, but if you feel unsure I suggest you upgrade your PSU to help you sleep better.
