  1. I agree with all the driving. It's just ridiculous. They should have implemented some kind of teleport system a la Oblivion.

    Gta 4

Yeah, I especially miss the army! I was hoping they had put in more army vehicles like APCs and tanks, fighter jets and choppers, but in stead, they cut everything out. There are also so little weapons, I haven't seen a minigun or flamethrower (yet?). And the game is also a lot less colorful than the others, like for instance Vice City (my favorite).
  3. Youtube is pretty much the worst place to see Crysis in all it's graphical beauty. ;P If you want to try the game you can download the demo. http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_crysis_downloads.html I find the game really enjoyable. My first play through was on low to medium graphical settings (which still looks good). The graphics are a nice bonus if your system can handle them.
  4. I wish I had seen this while building my last (and first) pc. It would've saved me lots of time in stead of scrambling all the bits and pieces of info from all over the web. Thanks for the guide.

    Hi, Everyone

Oh, right. I'll try to follow that.

    Hi, Everyone

    Fortunately, I'm not into those.
  7. This one has 860W (if you want to be really sure): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817703013 Btw, look what I found (200$ save!): a 1000W PC Power&Cooling for 199$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817703003
  8. I'm not far into the game and my perception of it might still change, but overall, I'm not really impressed (yet). The driving is really awkward and tedious. And there is little immersion to the whole experience. The game 'feels' ... dunno, empty. It's probably a personal thing.
  9. Hmm, yeah. Mixing RAM sticks from different vendors isn't the best you can do most of the time. I'd go for 8GB of your favorite kit. Btw those reapers have heatspreaders, if I'm not mistaking right? I have 4GB of XMS2 as well. Just out of interest, which kit do you prefer? The Corsair or the OCZ?
  10. I was expecting logitech to win on this one. I have the mx518. If I'd get a new mouse I'd go for either a Razer or a Logitech. I love both.
  11. Actually, that's the first bad thing I have heard about XFX. :/ I think this is good news for ati fans. I'd love to see some black edition ati cards.
  12. You might not use your pc for gaming, but will you need it for other GPU bound tasks like editing/CAD/photoshop/rendering? Because if that's the case, I wouldn't settle for a shabby graphics card...
  13. You'll probably want a discrete GPU and a good CPU for that video editing and photoshop. So you need: CPU, GPU, RAM, mobo, PSU and a case for 400$. Lets see what I can come up with. CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115052 GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102770 RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820144073 Mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128347 PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817139005 Case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811129042 Subtotal: $569.90 You might get this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820145184 About the same price.
  14. I think this psu will be good: http://www.pcpower.com/products/descriptio..._ESA/index.html You can't go wrong with that HX1000 though.
