dling Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 (edited) I thought that to get the freq of the processor you just multiplied the multiplier X fsb for example I my set at 8X1930 in the bios it says thats 3.86 gig, my computer reads 4.34 gig and the math says 15440 ,which it right? bg8780 Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 (edited) you have to divide the FSB by 4, 482.5x8 would get you 3860mhz=3.86ghz. as for why your computer reads differently i have no idea. Im guessing you mean it reads 4.43ghz in windows? what program are you using? it should be 3.86ghz Edited October 12, 2008 by bg8780
