Queenz Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Got it stable after tinkering with the GTL refs and lowering the multi to 8.5 giving me a chance to get a higher rated FSB:

Queenz Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 INSANE!! I lowered the multi and was able to break the wall I was getting at an 8.5 multi and turned it down to 7.5 and was able to get freaking 540 FSB : Time to stress test If I was running it on the stock 9.0 multi I would currently be at 4.896GHz I love this board I was never able to reach this on my blood iron board cause it didn't have some of the settings on it that helped me reach this speed. I can feel my whole setup screaming at me right now lol
swifty11212 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 nice, keep it going. I think my 680i didn't like lower multi/ higher fsb. I'll see what it can do later on.
Queenz Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Ok I hit a wall on the 7.5 Multi and I am currently stuck at 544 FSB, raise some volts a bit and screwed with the timings and GTL REF's and still nothing. I'll try lowering the multi to 7 now and see what happens
