Queenz Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Right now at the moment I'm using diluted Peak antifreeze for cars it works good and everything but I was looking into a good performance coolant that would match my case theme which is red on black. Can anyone recommend me a good coolant that looks like blood red. I found this one and was wondering has anyone tried this brand: the dye (but I have to screw with mixing) http://www.petrastechshop.com/feviacuvdyer.html or premixed http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7812/ex-..._Blood_Red.html
ben333 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Why do you use the antifreeze now? Just for the color or are you using mixed metals? If you've got an all copper, silver, brass loop you'd be all set with just some plain distilled water. Be careful on the additives, I've seen some nasty things happen inside people's blocking and tubing because of it. You might want to look into colored or UV reactive tubing. Yes i agree, you might have a hard time finding what you want, most of the time uv red turns out to be more pink in color, id look around, and see if you can find someone who is running red tubing, and make sure it looks red, and not pink under uv lights.
