What Ram to get for DFI NF4 Ultra-d?

Recommended Posts

I want to upgrade to 2 gigs. At the moment, I have 2x512 of some OCZ ram.

I read on these forums that it's a bad idea to fill all 4 slots...

So I figured I would just get 2x1 gig.

I am not in a rush, so if anything goes on sale, I will jump on it.

So a few recommendations would be great.

Thank you.

Hello,

If you can find some, a 2x1GB PC4000 kit would be the one to go for.

OCZ have a PC3200 2x1gb XTC kit rated at 2-3-2-5.

This is a good one to get, if you are into overclocking it may be able to run at 3-3-2-8@250Mhz.

G.skill ZX

or this

All decent DDR1 kits are now rare.

Do you have any overclocking experience with the gskill zx? My hz just died and gskill is replacing it w/ zx. All the reviews say they do 250mhz but i think they got handpicked kits.....

Erm i actually done the oc test for this gskill kits..

Quite impressing as i thought i can never hit over 250mhz but i got 266mhz and ran all the super pi 32m,occt, orthos stable for 8 hours.

here is some cpuz links:

I have OCZ. What you see in my sig. Works just fine. I just put some in a friends computer this weekend. He likes them also. I have not overclocked anything and he notice the difference right away. I also flash the bios on his, like I did mine to set memory to run little faster.
