mentul Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Anyone know a particular site that I could use to download older versions of the 680i chipset drivers. The reason I ask is because I recently reformatted my pc and downloaded the newest drivers thinking they would be fine. Boy, was I wrong. My graphics card goes nuts whenever I have the latest chipset drivers installed, and videos played on VLC bug out and BSOD half the time. Removing the chipset drivers allows everything to work fine except for the actual chipset Any suggestions.
Technohydra Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I can e-mail you a copy of the original drivers from the BFG install disc. As long as you own a 680i chipset board, it's legal, and they should be the original release drivers.
mentul Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 The board I have in my sig uses 680i drivers. I tried using 650i drivers off nvidia's site but those don't work. What they said about my board being a watered down striker extreme was true
mknwatt Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I dont see your sig. I use nForce 680i v9.53 (without any issues) on a p5n32-e sli, OS: XP 32bit. "My graphics card goes nuts whenever I have the latest chipset drivers installed" How about your Graphic drivers?

mentul Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Well, for some reason my PC acts retarded with the latest set of drivers. I downloaded 9.12 WHQL drivers and it works just as well as it did before. Just glad it wasn't anything hardware related
