  1. I like how they say "Cooler designed to be used without fan" Then another quote "If silence is the main requirement of your system choose the SILENTFLUX passive pro cooler. Designed to work without a fan. Allows a totally noiseless processor cooling for mid- to high-end energy efficient CPU's.Works with every system with a top mounted PSU ventilated by a 120 mm fan. So it appears it does need a fan, a top mount psu with a 120mm fan. The cooler will only have one way to mount due to the design of a bubble pump. This also limits where it can be installed. I'm guessing that is why a top mount PSU w/ 120 fan is needed.
  2. I think your referring to the 8-pin connector that supplies power to the CPU. Make sure your using the CPU 8-pin (4x4 EPS12V/ATX12V) connector and not the PCI-e 6+2 pin connector. The connector shapes should match exactly what socket they go in. Polarity would not matter on a momentary switch. It simply connects the two wires together making a circuit. I'm not sure about LCD touch screen but the polarities might need to match. Some motherboards will reboot once after powering ON if there was a change to the bios settings. If it is rebooting more than once then there is a problem with your overclock settings. Run the computer at default settings until your problems are straighten out.
  3. It's my gaming PC so there's really no important data on it. The time it takes to install all my games is what I dread. I'll be doing fresh install this weekend before it stops working. I can't keep my sanity unless I can take my frustration out on a few nOObs.
  4. Got the same pop-up warning to backup files, still haven't bought Win7 final release. Why can't it just stay, I like free stuff. When the PC starts shutting down every two hours, I'll be forced to install the final release. Good thing is I only have one puter running 7, all others have vista. <<<< is that a good thing?...IDK haha... works for me.
  5. Ordered a new monitor, be here by the end of the week. Acer GD235HZbid Black/orange 23.6" 2ms Widescreen 1080p 120Hz 3D-Ready LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 80000:1 - Retail . 3D graphics, Im already getting dizzy.
  6. The CPU-z tab for the memory shows your using OCZ2PRP10662G >>> http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memo...hpc_4gb_edition. Memory should be good upto DDR2-1066 / 533MHz at 2.1 -2.2 volts. I have the same memory but haven't used AMD for awhile.
  7. Dont forget about Swiftech's new water block - Apogee XT.
  8. I use power line network to connect to my file server and it works great. Stream movies/music, copy/transfer files, and internet work fine. The wireless connection I had was hit and miss and I wanted to try something different. I've only been using them for about a month but I have no complaints so far. 9. i7 920 @ 4.2GHz- Water Cooled Prime 95 - Blend Torture Test - 24 Hour Run
  10. I've ran a short 1hr test already and found that my processor heats up a bit more compared to LinX @ 200 x21. I, more than likely, will have to drop the OC to help the temps. If I could stop gaming I would have more time to run tests. I'll be sure to let you know how things turn out when I do a full test.
  11. Thanks roadrunner! :thumbs-up: Kitfit that's great news. The less problems the better, downloaded P95 v25.11. Very annoying waiting 9hrs to see a failed run every time.
  12. @road-runner - I have a new SuperPi 32M >>> 8m 14.381 . Same speed as the old but quicker memory.
  13. Nice Prime95 run Kitfit (not just p95, they're all good clocks) I've had trouble getting mine to pass, it keeps failing at the 9hr mark. Granted I haven't tested at lower settings but I thought the problem was with Prime95 since whatever settings I tried wouldn't help. What verison of Prime95 do you use? Edit: nm I see it, v 25.11.
