radodrill Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Is Supertalent RAM any good? How does it compare to OCZ and Corsair?
CPDMF Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Supertalent is a mid-level company. Their memory is decent but I wouldn't expect anything more than what it is rated for. They just don't have the funding to give anything away and they don't do the volume to be forced into putting 1000mhz IC's in 800mhz sticks. radodrill Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 That's what I wanted to know; best stick with OCZ or Corsair (possibly teamgroup)
CPDMF Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I have been extremely impressed with my Teamgroup purchases over the last year. What I really like about team is that I am able to shop for memory by the IC's I am looking for. They don't hide anything from you and have never failed to give me more than I paid for in terms of headroom past rated speeds. Haven't had anything but good experiences with Corsair as well. I have not always been happy with my purchases from the most popular brand on this site though.
Guest ElAguila Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Supertalent actually has some very good ram. The kit I have perform and oc's better than it is rated. You can google the kit number in my sig and see.
