Mushkin Or Kingston ?

Which DDR kit below is a BETTER choice if I'm building an Intel P4 3.0C GHz with an ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe mobo ???

 

....and WHY???

It depends if you want to run a higher FSB and use a memory divider or run the FSB/mem in a 1:1 ratio... can't really compare them as they're for different purposes. It's been shown extensively though that a lower FSB with tighter timings typically outperforms a higher FSB with very relaxed timings. Go with the Mushkin.

Mushkin vs Kingston?

 

No comparison--Mushkin with it's tight settings CL2-2-2-6 for AMD and 2-3-2-6 for Intels. It has the Winbond BH-5 chips and run a very good overclocking abilities. to to Mushkin.com to details. I have 3500ddrs for my Athlon system and run tight at 2-2-2-6 but am going to try it soon at 2-2-2-5. at 217mhz.

About the kingston

Don't buy the kingston, every review on that says it won't acutally hit 250 FSB.

 

I think everyone else is right the OCZ just is right there in the performance category, especially for the money.

And like syneze said 2-2-2-5 at 235FSB...dizamn
