Chinooks_FURY Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 With the price of the x2 6000 at $220 - what do you all feel to be the best mobo for excellent stability at stock specs? No OC'ing for this rig. Thanks.

dr_bowtie Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Anything in a NF550 series is good and it's not high priced like it's 590 bigger brother... The Gigabyte or Epox or Even the MSI Platinum series are all rock solid board at a very nice price...the only reason to go with a 590 chipset is overclocking ability... but most all the 550 series board will hit 300fsb but if you're not planning to overclock well then thats not an issue.... I just picked up 2 Biostar TForce 550 boards for 78.00 (with a 10.00 rebate) and they are very nice boards and I am very impressed with these so far...you may want to lokk at those...
