Shellz0r Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Hi, I'm searching Chipset Cooling for my mobo (DFI LP nF4 U-D) and I heard that Thermalright got good stuff,I guess you already know that DFI nF4 LP series have problem with the chipset cooling because it can't fit there, the problem is that I can't get Thermalright chipset cooling here on Israel. so I wanna know if there is any ZALMAN,Coolermaster or Thermaltake out there that can give me good performance and fit the mobo. godlyatheist Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 You mean you want to replace a dying stock chipset fan? or watercooling your chipset. DFi recommended replacement is this Evercoool VC-RE As for water cooling, there's no need

UncleDavid218 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 No, both coolers use different sized mounting brackets Please fill in your location per the rules you have agreed to (And no, "There" does not suffice )

General Septem Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 You can use the VC-RF, but you will have to modify it to fit in the holes.
UncleDavid218 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Good point John, the RF can be used but the install is not as easy As mentioned, a certain amount of modification is needed for such an install
