It computes its scores in a completely different way from the '01 varient. Also, what is your video card? '03 is extremely video card reliant, the CPU plays almost no role in the overall score, and even the CPU test cannot be judged from computer to computer unless the same video card is used. sniperX Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 (edited) My video card is a PNY Geforce 5900 FX with 128mb of ram. Thanks for the positive feedback now I dont feel like my computer totally sucks. First time I have ever built one. Also I am planning on adding another geil 512mb pc3200 stick of ram to take advantage of the dual ddr 400 on my mobo. Also plan to add a new heatsink and fan to the cpu since it still has the stock one on. Edited November 12, 2003 by sniperX
Eva_Unit_0 Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Yeah, 5000 is a very good score...that's the same as mine scores. But if you really want to raise it, you could probably overclock your video card by quite a bit since its not the ultra version.
