From SLI Infinity to Expert

So, the 2nd PCIEx16 slot on my Infinity board doesnt work. and i got another 7900GT. so then i had to grab another board, and Expert sounds good.

 

i have the board right now, but i dont have time to play wit it until Sunday evening.

 

first couple of question is:

- which BIOS? stock or flash it to something else right away?

- can i boot up straight to 2.8Ghz as its running on my INF SLI right now?

- should i boot up wit 1 card first or both is ok? the 7900GT that is.

- do i need to re-do the RAID-0 and reformat?

- BIOS settings?

- (there's a few more i bet, but i cant seem to remember them).

 

so in a nutshell, how do i rebuild this computer?

yeah, i shouldnt ask for BIOS settings lol. but is it possible to copy the DRAM settings i used in the INF board to the Expert?

ok maybe i'll try....... lol

just do it, the worst that could happent is your cpu will come flying out the socket and hit you in the face.
