smolt Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Depends on what divider you use. Remember that CPU MHz is king. Make your memory work around your CPU. DO NOT make your CPU work around your memory:D So if you have to use the 180 divider at 3-4-4-8 or the 150 at 2-2-2-5 the 150 is a better choose. That being said the rule of thumb is IF you have to use a divider.Use one that gives you the tightest timing possible. In your case if not using a divider 2-2-2-5 rules There tread after tread on this. In benches and games it don't matter.
