Trying to update drivers but unable to do so.

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to run the Windows Vista but i get the msg that says, Update SCSI & RAID Controllers: D367PRTSCSI Controller. So i go to the website and downloaded the nForceRaid_5p34 and put it onto a 3.5" floppy. Well then when i go to install it, it goes through everything but when i go in the device manager to see if it updated the driver it is still from 2004 driver. How do i go about doin this? Thanks

seems like it should work but surely vista has some bugs yet and maybe this is one of the many. Off the top of my head I am thinking there has got to be some type of Vista forum that MS if running, I think that'd be the place to ask. Maybe somebody around here has a better idea than that but that's what I would do.

Welcome to the Steet Drew! :)

Is your HDD SATA or PATA (IDE). You should be able to install straight onto an IDE drive (you can get them pretty cheap these days). Using SATA as your only/ primary OS drive can be a bit more tricky.
