drew22mader Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I'm trying to run the Windows Vista but i get the msg that says, Update SCSI & RAID Controllers: D367PRTSCSI Controller. So i go to the website and downloaded the nForceRaid_5p34 and put it onto a 3.5" floppy. Well then when i go to install it, it goes through everything but when i go in the device manager to see if it updated the driver it is still from 2004 driver. How do i go about doin this? Thanks
Mr. Jules Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 You need to make sig so we know what components you are working with first.

Mr. Jules Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 seems like it should work but surely vista has some bugs yet and maybe this is one of the many. Off the top of my head I am thinking there has got to be some type of Vista forum that MS if running, I think that'd be the place to ask. Maybe somebody around here has a better idea than that but that's what I would do. Welcome to the Steet Drew!
suedenim Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Is your HDD SATA or PATA (IDE). You should be able to install straight onto an IDE drive (you can get them pretty cheap these days). Using SATA as your only/ primary OS drive can be a bit more tricky.
chapas Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 D367PRTSCSI Controller..... Do you have SCSI drives? You don't. I think this is Daemon Tools driver that Vista is complaining about. Check if you have Daemon Tools!
Branjo Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 There already is a Vista thread you should post in that, this thread will probably be deleted you can find it here http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56826
