Akutarou23 Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 I recently bought an ATI Radeon 9600 PRO, but when i check my system info, it says that my graphics card is a RADEON 9600 SERIES. Anybody knows if this is what's suppose to be shown, or have I been ripped off and they gave me a normal RADEON 9600? Thnx for the help. bigred Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 look at the card. fcc ID # is the key to what it is, and who made it.
ravix Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Also, it may be a driver problem. I would try reinstalling drivers, and making sure they are the correct ones.
kobalt Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 I have a 9000 pro and it says the same i guess windows go by the Gpu which is basically the same in the lower 9000 series (i think <_< )
Akutarou23 Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Ah but my friend's RADEON 9800 pro does show up as pro in the system info, or the dxdiag. And as for the drivers, I downloaded the latest of the ATI website. Should I just stick to the one on the cd that I got with the gfx card? Ziggy54354 Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 get an overclocking program and check the clock speeds, 400/300 = pro 325/200 = np
