help!!! my comp keeps on crashing...

juz got myself my 1st DFI board

put it on together and starts to install

windows....however did not clear any cmos

or check RAM for memtest since it works

with my previous setup with an asus board

 

suddenly during installation..my comp crash

and keep up coming with this blue screen (tellin me bout the error) :mad:

shut the pc..unplug n plug all the hardware back

to ensure all of it is properly put in place

 

successfully install the windows w/o any probs

but after a few minutes the comp crashes again

n this blue screen keeps coming up!!!

Google the error message.

You can check your system logs in the Event Viewer for OS related issues.

 

Then you need to test your memory and/or rig for stability.

Based on this I would.

 

Clear the CMOS like this.

 

Then Load Optimized Defaults in the BIOS.

 

Enabling MemTest86+ in the BIOS and run test #5 and #8 for 5-10 passes. Then run all test over night.

 

Then run Prime95 overnight. I run prime minimum of 8hr to 24hr.
