ICe D Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Hi, I've been overclocking my newcastle 3400+ cpu, my idle temp is at 42-43 rising to 49-50 on full load FSB = 225 HTT = x3 Multiplier = 12x voltage = 1.62v I ran super pi at 32m overnight and it seems to be stable, just wondered if the temps seem ok to you lot. Is there anything else I can run to check for stability?
EdLSmith Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 That sounds reasonable for air cool @ 1.62 Vcore OC'd.
tasr Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 To DFI-Street. This is a very good tread by soundx98; Temps Too High? on keeping the PWMIC, and the MOSFET cool. More volts = more heat. Hope this helps you.
