Voltage Mod On A7n8x Deluxe

Recommended Posts

there 2 jiuhb the dlt3 wich is 1.5 volts and the dut3c wich is 1.6 volts the dlt seem to be the better overclocker of the 2 but there getting hard to find . im hearing great things about the 1800+ alot of them are 1.5 volts and hitting around 2300mhz like most dlt chips. bette rpcb i dont know who told you that crap but they changed nothing its just a good stepping of the cpu is why they clock so high but i wouldnt expect anything past 2400mhz unless you go sub ambiant temps youb be better of getting a 2500+ and overclocking it to 2300mhz

that doent makes sense!!! a 1700+ @ 4712mhz?!?!?!? how can that be possible!!!

Quite easily, if you overvolt your processor, MBM will do weird stuff, recently while I was upping the v/core on the K62 (looking for stability @ 600Mhz), MBM registered my clock cycle @ 2245Mhz approx, it has since settled down.

Crazy stuff eh?

fanATIc1205 is right, there is the 1.5 and 1.6V-type. From what i've read on this, the 1.5V(dlt3c) can't handle well anything above 1.8Vcore, while the 1.6(dut3c) can do up to 2.2Volt. But then again the 1.5Volter OC's better and runs cooler @ the same time.

Maybe if u pic the dlt3c, u won't need a voltmod at all. I have the 1800+ dlt3c and went up to 2200Mhz @ 1.5Vcore. They almost ask 2 b OC'ed

EDIT: They have 2 b OC'ed.

i read about the 2500+ maxing out at 2300Mhz, but i didnt have a problem. im running my barton 2500+ on my a7n8x deluxe mobo @ 2432Mhz. 11x220 vcore 1.85 and DDR voltage at 2.8. had a few problems before with the memory timings, but after i set it to user defined at 6-3-2-2T the problems went away. Im cooling with slk900a, 92mm Tornado(turned all the way down) and 3 more 80mm tornados for case colling. Idle: 36, Load(prime95 for 6 hrs): 42
