Shredman Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Is this a good deal Arctic Cooler 64 Pro $17 from centralcomputer,com Is this a good cooler? I read this Review from overclockersonline.com and the performance seemed ok...supposed to be pretty quiet and a couple of degrees cooler?? IIRC there I've also heard some talk of this thing hitting your ram if you have tall ram. Is this an issue with 1gb sticks of gskill ram in the orange slots? Anyone have experience with this? Right now I'm idling at 37C and load about 42C. What do you think? Found another review from overclockers.com - very favorable... blaznee Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 I have that cooler, and it's a VERY good one for the price.. I don't think you'll see much of a performance improvement compared to what you have today, nothing really useful at least.. It has the ability to be turned around, if you need the airflow to be different... It'll hit the memory bank closest to your cpu if the cooler is turned to blow air away from the memory..
