Anybody got any tips? i can get to 290 just fine but 300+ is a struggle

a sweet spot would be 320 with my ram on a divider but at 320

it gets as far as the irq listing then reboots. Chipset volts

have been raised to the max. Could this be related to mem timings?.

Or is just the max of the chipset itself?

Don't raise chipset voltages more then .1v above stock.

 

As for getting above 300FSB, I have no idea. I have absolutely no use for it whatsoever.

 

But you're not asking me, so to this I say use the search function this forum offers.

If you get that 3800x2 to 3.2ghz on air, you should go buy 10 more from where you got that one from and sell them on ebay!

 

If you are getting 2.9ghz, than I'd saw that is one awesome chip. Mine only went to 270 stable but it took like 1.6v to do it, and that was with water, and IHS removed!

Try loosening max async latency and read preamble, helped me with 2 x 512. See if 9 and 6.5 helps and if it does work your way back down from there.
